Good to see that the work commissioned by our Parish Council has finished on the War Memorial – Cllr Shirley Northwood did a great job in progressing this.

The memorial has been damaged on many occasions in the last few years and a grant was obtained from the War Memorial Trust to put the granite pavement and sets around the memorial to protect it when cars are trying to park nearby.
